 Ik kan me niet voorstellen dat jullie tegen de afschaffing van het leger zijn. Echt waar, jullie moeten wel ontzettend naïef zijn! Begrijp nou toch dat niet alle mensen zo vredelievend zijn en dat er regelmatig ingegrepen moet worden. Zie Bosnië, Hutu's vs Tutsi's, 1e wo, 2e wo, Afghanistan, Irak, Cyprus, Kroatië, Kazachstan, Ivoorkust, enzovoort enzovoort. Zie ook de ethnische zuiveringen die momenteel plaatsvinden in delen van Afrika.

De wereld zit niet zo in elkaar dat de keuze zo gemakkelijk is van: militarisme of non-militarisme. Voor of tegen. Was de wereld maar zo makkelijk!
