[Am*dam] Social center squatted - days of action continue!

Wake up - it's time for some days of action!
Today we have squatted a former main office of the fire department on Weesperzijde 99. There is an office on the top floor but the people working there have been promised access to that part of the building so they can continue their work normally on Monday morning.
It seems that some money hungry makelaar had a plan to turn the building into some kind of a yuppie collective of creative companies, but hey – we were faster! We will use this space to do our own things: creative, social and political.
The upcoming days are filled with different kinds of activities but there is always space for more. So come join us! Help occupy, take part, get involved!
Whatever they say, squatting will stay!

Vandaag hebben we de voormalige brandweerkazerne op de Weesperzijde nummer 99 gekraakt. Er was al een kantoor boven verhuurd, maar we hebben de huurders beloofd dat ze toegang tot hun kantoor krijgen. Op die manier kunnen ze hun werkzaamheden vanaf maandagochtend voortzetten.
Er bleek een geldzuchtige makelaar te zijn, die van plan was om dit gebouw in een soort yuppen-bedrijfsruimtes te veranderen, maar hey - we waren sneller. We zullen deze ruimte gebruiken voor onze eigen activiteiten: op een creatieve, sociale en politieke manier.
De aankomende dagen zijn gevuld met verschillende soorten activiteiten maar er is genoeg plek voor meer. Zo komt allen!!! Help met bezetten, wees erbij en raak betrokken!

So basically what you are saying is that someone had an idea to give a new purpose to that building and to create a cultural centre in there and you just moved in and blocked access to the people who had their hearts set on moving in there and helping the community.
So you are stealing ideas and squatting in a property that had a good purpose for the society.
It looks like your giving squatters a bad name my friend.
