This picture is an act of solidarity with the struggle of the Hambach Forest. In the Lutkemeerpolder, we are struggling against the same logic of exploitation as both the people in Hambach and the people of Groningen and their struggle against the gasextraction. Large corporations such as RWE, NAM (sHell and ExxonMobil) and Schiphol Airport see climate nature and people as a commodity to profit from and don’t care about the world which is being destroyed. But we believe in the fact that ordinary people can stand up against this capitalist machine and fight back!

From 25th until 29th of October,at the beginning of the cutting season in Hambacher Forest,Ende Gelände organizes a mass action for climate justice and against the extraction and combustion of coal. From the Netherlands we are organising buses to join this action. We look forward to join forces with thousands of people from all over Europe to shut down the Hambach mine and fight for the survival of the forest and our planet!

Solidariteit met Hambach Forest! Stop klimaatverandering

Vanaf de bedreigde Lutkemeerpolder in Amsterdam staan wij in solidariteit met iedereen die zich inzet voor het Hambacher bos, dat op dit moment wordt vernietigd door RWE en de Duitse staat. Het Hambacher bos is een van de oudste oerbossen van Europa en wordt gekapt voor de uitbreiding van het Hambachmijn. Deze gigantische mijn produceert bruinkool, een van de meest vervuilende fossiele brandstoffen.

Deze foto is een teken van solidariteit met de strijd voor Hambacher bos. In de Lutkemeerpolder strijden wij tegen dezelfde logica van uitbuiting als zowel de mensen in het Hambacher bos en de inwoners van Groningen en hun strijd tegen de gaswinning. Grote bedrijven, zoals RWE, NAM (sHell en ExxonMobil) en Schiphol Airport, zien mensen en natuur als een middel om winst mee te maken en de vernietiging van de aarde interesseert hen niet. Maar wij geloven in het feit dat mensen kunnen opstaan tegen deze kapitalistische machine en dat we samen terug kunnen vechten!

Van 25 tot en met 29 oktober, aan het begin van het kapseizoen in het Hambach bos, organiseert Ende Gelände massa-acties voor klimaatrechtvaardigheid en tegen de fossiele brandstoffenindustrie in het Rijnland. Vanuit Nederland organiseren wij bussen om aan deze actie mee te doen. We zien er naar uit om samen met duizenden mensen uit heel Europa de Hambachmijn stil te leggen en te vechten voor het behoud van het bos en onze planeet.
