Er gaat vrijwel niemand stemmen op woensdag voor wat overbodige provinciale clubjes die allang opgeheven hadden moeten worden! Enkel wat linkse fossielen staan vrijwillig hun stem af, en nog wat burgerlijke types.
Wat ik mis op Indymedia is de oproep om niet te gaan stemmen! De simpele zielen van AFA en Clowns Army roepen op om niet te stemmen op partijen die momenteel het kabinet vormen. Met andere woorden: stem PvdA! Stem CU! Stem SGP! Stem SP! Stem D55, etc. ZUM KOTZEN!
In Leeuwarden nam Micha Kat afgelopen weekeinde het initiatief om bezoekers van een huichelachtige verkiezingsmarkt op te roepen niet in de rattenval te trappen (alle respect voor de rat overigens), dat navolging verdient.  "Iedereen moet toch wat inleveren?!" deze opmerking echoot door de Nederlandse samenleving in de hedendaagse tijden van crisis. Dit Basta! debat over "The mythe van de bezuinigingen" wordt georganiseerd naar aanleiding van het huidige dominante discours in de maatschappij van de ‘noodzakelijke bezuinigingen’, die wordt uitgedragen door de huidige regering en weerklank vindt in de media en alle hoeken van de maatschappij.

The absolute monarchy in Oman seems not to have learnt from the fate of Ben Ali and Mubarak. Today, they killed Omani workers.
