Voor de vierde keer komen we samen om ons te beraden voor de actie CODE ROOD op 24 juni in de Amsterdamse haven.

Afgelopen november is de Vrije Bond door Carrie Pilto (gastcurator) en het Cobra Museum gevraagd samen te werken rond de tentoonstelling Enrico Baj: Play as Protest. Het idee was om de anarchistische kant en het perspectief van Enrico Baj te belichten. Wij van de Vrije Bond zijn erg enthousiast over deze samenwerking en zien dit als een mooie kans om de anarchistische vrije geest van Enrico Baj te vieren, en te laten inspireren.

In 2017 the Nuclear Energy Conference will take place for the fourth time – as already in 2015 it will be held in Linz.
In 2017 EURATOM will celebrate the 60th year since its foundation and therefore 60 years of promoting nuclear industry. EURATOM is an obstacle for the European nuclear phase-out and a stumbling block for a nuclear free Europe. 60 years after its implementation the time has come to abolish EURATOM or at least subject it to a thorough reform process which has been demanded for years.

Theater de Generator is een nieuw Leids theater dat in 2018 open gaat. Dit jaar organiseert het theater echter al theater- en debatavonden onder de noemer ON PROBATION. Met dit keer een thema waarbij verhalen bij elkaar worden gebracht van verschillende mensen binnen de LGBTQIA+ community. Een prikkelend divers programma voor en door deze community, met als doel een gesprek te stimuleren over de zichtbaarheid van deze gemeenschap in Leiden.

De haat rukt op: Haat tegen moslims, vluchtelingen, migranten, mensen die
‘anders’ zijn. Doelwit: de solidariteit. Veel mensen zoeken verbinding,
niet met haatpredikers, maar met elkaar. Omdat diversiteit geen bedreiging
is, maar een verrijking. Omdat we samen sterk staan en kunnen werken aan
een solidaire wereld.
Over deze mensen gaat de Eerste Mei! Deze Internationale Dag van de Arbeid
staat sinds meer dan 120 jaar symbool voor de strijd voor een achturige
Tilburgse Anarcho Sociëteit (TAS) presenteert voor de vijfde keer een lezing
van Dennis Bos. Dit jaar is de titel van de lezing `Reclame voor de revolutie:
radicale symbolen door de jaren heen.´ Hamer en sikkel, de omcirkelde A, de
rood-zwarte vlag; linkse radicale bewegingen hebben hun eigen beeldtaal,
hun eigen symbolen. Waar komen die symbolen vandaan, hoe zijn ze
bedacht, tegen welke achtergronden? Dennis zal ons tijdens zijn lezing, in dit
herdenkingsjaar van honderd jaar Russische Revolutie, meenemen in de
wereld van de radicale marketing.

Les samedis 06 et 13 mai, Agir pour la Paix organise une formation de préparation à l’action directe non-violente lors du sommet de l’OTAN le 25 mai 2017. Durant ces deux journées, la possibilité sera donnée aux fraîchement curieux-ses de découvrir rapidement les bases de l’action directe non-violente, mais nous nous pencherons surtout sur le concret en laissant les sous-groupes imaginer et planifier leurs propres actions de perturbation le 25 mai 2017 à Bruxelles.

In 2015 and 2016 three anarchist comrades, one from Amsterdam and two
from Barcelona, have been imprisoned after the prosecution office of
Aachen (Germany) issued warrants for their arrests on accusation of bank
robbery in the same city. The comrade from Amsterdam, charged with a
robbery in 2013, has been acquitted in December 2017; she is currently
awaiting the revision appeal. The trial of the two other comrades
concerns a robbery in 2014 and began on the 23rd January 2017; their
court case will continue for the coming months.

Auf dem Bundestreffen im Februar haben wir unsere Aktion bei der Waffenschmiede von Rheinmetall in Unterlüß bei Celle weiter geplant. Die Rheinmetall AG ist in Deutschland der wichtigste Exporteur im Munitionsbereich und damit ein Beispiel für das an Gewinnmaximierung orientierte weltweite „Geschäft mit dem Tod“. Die anschlussfähige Aktion soll am 15. Mai stattfinden und mit einem Camp verbunden werden, das vom 12.-16. Mai geht. Wir suchen immer noch Menschen vor Ort, die uns mit Schlafplätzen, Infrastruktur und/oder Beteiligung unterstützen können.
Theater en productiehuis De Generator organiseert theater- en debatavonden onder de noemer ON PROBATION. Deze avond nemen vluchtelingen de avond over, met een prikkelend en divers programma met als doel om te empoweren en af te rekenen met de gebruikelijke exotisering van vluchtelingen. Vluchtelingen zijn een ‘hot item’ in theater en debat. De neiging is echter om óver vluchtelingen te praten, in plaats van mét. Maar mensen zijn geen (gespreks)onderwerp!

In protest of the planned deportation of an illegalised Sudanese refugee we organise a demonstration to call for stopping this irresponsible and violent act. The man is part of the We Are Here group and his brothers and sisters of We Are Here are very worried what will happen to him upon arrival in Khartoum. We fear he will be detained and tortured.

De Metropoolregio Rotterdam-Den Haag (MRDH) is een samenwerkingsverband tussen 23 gemeenten in het oude stadsgewest Haaglanden en de regio Rotterdam. Het bestuur bestaat uit 23 gemeentelijke vertegenwoordigers, de burgemeesters van Rotterdam en Den Haag en de portefeuillehouders verkeer en vervoer van de gemeenten Rotterdam en Den Haag. Dit bestuursverband neemt nu al ruim twee jaar besluiten over onze economie (o.a economisch vestigingsklimaat) en mobiliteit (o.a. openbaar vervoer).

Screening of two documentaries about Dutch atrocities during decolonization of Dutch-Indies and the refusal of Dutch state to acknowledge them. (eng. sub)
Jeffry Pondaag, 'Comité Nederlandse Ereschulden', will share these two crucial documentaries that both last +/- 30min. followed by Q &A and discussion. Great opportunity to network with other decolonial activists.
There will also a be vegan meal on donation.
Coming wednesday AGA shows part two in the documentaryseries called
'Trouble' by Submedia. This part is called 'Bash the fash'. Afterwards,
there is room for discussion and the bar is open.
All screenings of Trouble have english audio with dutch subtitles.
If there is time we also show part one of the series.

De radicale socialistische en anarchistische beweging richtte aan het eind van de Eerste Wereldoorlog soldaten- en arbeidersraden op (naar het voorbeeld in Rusland en Duitsland). Dat gebeurde ook in Drachten en omgeving. Plaatselijke activisten richtten in de concertzaal 'De Pijlaars' op; een arbeiders- en soldaten-raad die deel uitmaakte van een provinciaal netwerk: De Friese Arbeiders- en Soldatenraad. Aan bod komt de afdeling Drachten van de Internationale Anti-Militaristische Vereniging (IAMV), de lokale anarchisten rond Sy(ie)bren Staphorsius en de plaatselijke communistische groep.

Rachel Heaton, Nataanii Means, Wašté Win Young and Rafael Gonzales, activists of the Standing Rock movement, will carry the voices of the water protectors to various parts of Europe : Paris, Brussels, the Netherlands, Bonn, Geneva, Bologna, Barcelona, Bilbao and Madrid.

On May 24th and 25th, NATO leaders will be present in Brussels for an important NATO summit and for the inauguration of their new headquarters. Donald Trump, the President of the United States, has announced that new many billions will be spent on the military, and he urges Europe to do so too. The rise of defense budgets up to 2% of the Gross Domestic Product will undoubtedly be one of the most important topics on this summit meeting. We resist. We don’t want more money for war! We want investments in education, health, job creation and solidarity.
Die Idee von Lausitzcamp on Tour
Wir laden euch ein, mitzufahren. Gemeinsam fordern wir: Fossile Brennstoffe wie Kohle, Öl und Gas müssen im Boden bleiben.
Wir verbinden lokalen Widerstand mit globaler Verantwortung. Dazu besuchen wir Menschen und Bürgerinitiativen in der Lausitz, vernetzen uns und setzen in gemeinsamen Aktionen ein Zeichen gegen den Raubbau an der Natur und für internationale Klimagerechtigkeit!
Ablauf
De Reünie Special, zondag 21 mei om 20.20 uur op NPO 1
In februari 1981 vond in Nijmegen de grootste volksopstand sinds de Tweede Wereldoorlog plaats. Epicentrum was de omgeving van de Piersonstraat. Daar werd door krakers een week lang een complete buurt gebarricadeerd om huizensloop voor de bouw van een parkeergarage tegen te houden. En een groot deel van de bevolking steunde hun actie.
