Oaxaca: Indigenous Leader Assassinated
Grassrootsprojects - 25.10.2010 12:43

On Friday the 22nd October, the indigenous leader Catarino Torres Pereda was assassinated in the office of the Committee for Citizen Defense (Comité de Defensa Ciudadana in spanish and know for it initials: CODECI) located in Tuxtepec, Oaxaca.

A pair of two men armed entered in the office in order to shoot shamelessly the 37 year old Catarino Torres, native of Cacahuatal, Ojitlan, Oaxaca. Those that saw the aggressors identified that they carried t-shirts and ball caps of the ex-candidate of the PRI (Partido Nacional Revolucionaria), Eviel Perez Magaña.

It is unknown, however, who are the responsibles for the shooting but CODECI expects results of the investigation as soon as possible. The two shots which penetrated Catarino were of a caliber of 9 millimeters. One took Catarino Torres in the face and came to rest in his cerebrum without penetrating it. The other for his left side which exited by the right arm, penetrating both lungs.

On Friday the 22nd October, a political demonstration took place outside of the Cathedral, in the state capital of Oaxaca, in order to demand immediate justice for Catarino. Further demonstrations will be announced in days to come.

Catarino Torres suffered a persistent political persecution for the last 10 years of his political and social work. He was the first political prisoner of the APPO in 2006 in Oaxaca and was held 7 months in the maximum security prison, the Altiplano.

Tuxtepec & region of Tehuantepec
MM - 26.10.2010 11:18

Tuxtepec locates a Mexican army base as well as a train rail where the illegals from Central America pass on their road to the USA with help(=corruption) from local authorities.

Actually I have seen a Colonel from the Tuxtepec military base (straight looking into my eyes...) together with general Carmelo Teran Montero from Santa Maria Mixtequilla sitting at the table of the installation of their family member as president (they used their masons alike womans-org and female support to get their puppet installed), as a clear and absurd intimidation to the little farmers:

(to my disappointement I have no pic of the Colonel)

I have to mention that Januar/Februar this year people were looking for me in Costa Rica, presenting themselves as Israeli Security (ex-)commandos Bitajon-Shar. They harassed my girlfriend (pulling her hair and saying that who walks with me is going to die) and I had to call them (they gave their Bitajon-Shar card). One was talking in Hebrew while another with Mexican accent translated. The Hebrew guy later did a kidnap attempt on her, trying to throw her into his car and she used pepper-spray to escape while the Bitajon car was waiting on a distance. Later she identified him as almost certain one of the Dubai suspects (this was a few weeks before that event). They told her they knew me from Oaxaca and that I worked for little farmers. A second kidnap attempt was with 3 Mexicans, but she had gotten protection, so they were arrested. They appear to have been Mexican security or something, as they were releases and seem to have said that I am the leader of a drug cartel (general Carmelo Teran Montero is reinstalled as the one that coordinates the war on drugs next to Military Intelligence). The legal issue she filed against them in Costa Rica, has disappeared. Clearly these are friends of the Costa Rican government and their DIS secret police run by family of former president Oscar Arias who is a business asset of Nicaraguan magnat Carlos Pelas.

WNU #1054: Two Activists Murdered in Mexico
MM - 27.10.2010 04:00

 http://weeklynewsupdate.blogspot.com/2010/10/wnu-1054-two-activists-murdered-in.html

=> All activists that had to do something with the little farmers, indigenous and teachers revolt of Oaxaca are monitored, because they never are allowed to regain democratic strength like they had before. So who dares to stand up again, is murdered.

EU and USA are accomplishes in these murders, as they accept them in order not to loose their neo-colonial investments in Mexico. Especially 'high elite' above gov organized criminals are involved in the cover up through their allied media channels in not reporting these crimes in Europe nor USA.

I would not recommend left-wing activists take a strong offensive action against these severe crimes, although this 'post-WWII-never-Nazis-again-culture' is allowed and can be considered as obliged as everyone's civil duty against practicing fascists and terrorists in power violating democratic and free media rights.

What left-wing activist need more is support first and that has to come from the average citizens. There is the war and they need to get motivated to fight for democratic and human civilian rights against the Mexican government and their own corrupt false democratic gov's & corporate owned media for conspiring with the cover-up.
