M.N. is al meer dan vier weken in hongerstaking, waarvan hij ook nog eens een periode niet gedronken heeft. Zijn advocaat bezocht hem in de afgelopen dagen en schrok toen hij zag hoeveel M.N. was afgevallen en verzwakt. M.N. protesteert tegen het asielbeleid, maar juist de beleidsmakers en -uitvoerders tonen zich volkomen onverschillig: ondanks zijn toestand wordt M.N. morgen naar Afghanistan gedeporteerd.
