Content of Press Conference - The conference will include details of the plan including strategy, logistics, endorsements, previous ceasefires (2001 & 2003) and other relevant facts.
MANDATE:
In response to unheeded and repeated calls for “International Observers” from the G8, the UN, President Arafat, the Arab League, NGO's and many more, the P10K Force is now forming for deployment to the OPT, and intends to remain there until the application of international law, which demands full Israeli withdrawal.
‘AGREEMENT IN PRINCIPLE’
(Ceasefire) - Mr. O’Keefe will discuss P10K brokered attempts to secure an ‘AGREEMENT IN PRINCIPLE’ with Israel and the militant Palestinian Resistance intending to affect a cessation of all offensive operations contingent on the arrival of the P10K FORCE in September.

Mrs Aisawi
A statement will be made by Mrs. Aisawi regarding her personal loss of loved ones and her support for the P10K Mission of affecting a ceasefire upon arrival and ending Israeli state terrorism and the illegal occupation of the OPT; the root causes of Palestinian terrorism.
WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION:
Mr. O'Keefe will discuss America's invasion of Iraq based on false allegations of Iraq possessing WMD and subsequent killing of at least 10,000 civilians; meanwhile annually providing at least $4 billion in aid to Israel, which has a known and illegal arsenal of nuclear, biological and chemical weapons. He will read a statement from the recently released Mordechai Vanunu testifying to this fact and call on citizens of the world to join the P10K FORCE based on the clear and present threat the Israeli/Palestinian conflict represents to security for our world.

To ask 10.000 people to join is to ask the close to impossible. The succes of the human shields wasn't in the strength of numbers. The ISM has a lot of experience in Palestine, why not use this expertise.

Hamas heeft laten weten absoluut niet te zullen stoppen met aanslagen tegen onschuldige Israëlische burgers, al zouden er 50.000 buitenlanders komen kijken.
En Israël zal écht niet stoppen met het liquideren van Hamas-leiders zolang er aanslagen gepleegd worden door Hamas.
Dus tja, als men er geen bezwaar tegen heeft ook door een Israëlische kogel geraakt te worden...
Ik geef de deelnemers aan P10K een strikt advies: blijf uit de buurt van terroristen!!!
Dorpjes beschermen, oké, maar ga alsjeblieft niet in de buurt van terroristen rondwandelen. Dan sta jij in de vuurlinie, en de IDF zal niet aarzelen om dwars door je heen te schieten op die terroristen.
Goed, nu terug naar het doel van Indymedia:

De terroristen in Israel zitten in het IDF. Hier wordt de boel weer eens om gedraaid. Israel is een terreurstaat en het IDF haar moordende en martelende leger van beulen die niet schromen om onschuldige burgers, vrouwen en kinderen te vermoorden. Zij verdedigen hun gestolen land wat ze etnish gezuiverd hebben voor een fascistische joodse staat.

Etnisch zuiveren is gelul. Er wonen een miljoen Arabieren als staatsburger in Israel. Het Arabisch is een erkende taal, men heeft actief en passief kiesrecht en een levensstandaard die ver uitsteekt boven de arabische buren.
Als "Hamas is a friend" zich wil opstellen aan de kant van de terroristische massamoordenaars van Hamas moet hij even zijn morele kompas checken.

Eigenlijk is dit vredesbrigade plan niet van gisteren, en ook een goed idee, maar op uitnodiging van de betrokken partijen zou een veel beter uitgangspunt zijn. (In de Palestina kwestie zou Hamas ondanks enz.. in de praktijk min of meer ook partij kunnen zijn) Als partijen daarna beloven niet op de vredeswaarnemers te schieten zijn we op de goede weg. De VN wil graag een waarnemers (burgers?) inzetten in dit soort situatie's, maar ze hebben volgens mij geen antwoord op de praktische uitvoering van het voornemen. Daar zijn we op dit moment, misschien komt er een vervolg, ik ben zeker benieuwd wat de VN bedoeld
