Hulp bij sluiten beagle fokkerij Italie
nancy - 15.09.2004 16:17

Romanga in Italie opgeheven.

is gevestigd.

> vivisection in the Emilia Romagna region of Italy has

> to sell their beagles to labs again.
> Now we have found out some important news, which
> activists and local residents are working on: the ban
> has been cancelled, but Morini needs its licence to
> sell dogs to labs to be renewed. The fate of all the
> hundreds dog puppies inside this farm is in the hands
> of the major of the town where Morini is based, San
> Polo D’Enza. This man can decide wether these dogs
> will be tortured to death in labs or just sold as pets
> and probably rehomed after the farm will close down….
> It’s time to let him know what we think if he was
> going to make the first horrible choice!
>
> A network of activists and local citizens and
> companies calling itself “Open assembly on the Morini
> case” has already sent a clear message to the major
> asking to not renew the license to this farm for
> various reasons, appealing more on the ground that

> beagles would bring more tension in town….. this
> network asks for the complete closure of the farm, and

> town under the pressure of local residents, national
> media interest, hundreds of animal rights activists
> and even some politicians on a higher level that push
> for the closure of this farm.
> That’s why we feel so important that the pressure

>
> Please take a couple minutes to spread this news and
> write a short message to the city council of San Polo

>
> If the license were to be withdrawn forever from the

> beagles and thousands of different rodents are still

>
> Here you find the addresses, and if you need it
> there’s a short written message at the end.
