Aan alle open source geeks en videoactivisten! De VX:mission bijeenkomst richt zich op de distributie van Social Justice Video met behulp van Free en Open Source technologie. Het is een kans om meer te weten te komen over bestaande distributieprojecten, om feedback te krijgen over je eigen projecten en ideeën, om samenwerkingsverbanden te smeden, en om de distributie van je eigen filmmateriaal op touw te zetten.

Er zijn drie dagen met events. Een filmvertoning met info en discussie op vrijdag 18 jan, een dag besloten hacklab sesies op de 19de, en een dag met publieke workshops op zondag 20 jan. Het begint vrijdag de 18e, om 18:30 en het eindigt zondag de 20e, 18:00.
Het soort dingen waar we het over willen hebben en waar we aan zullen werken zijn...

Video Distributie Strategie
Deze bijeenkomst is voorbereid in associatie met FlossManuals.net en Clearerchannel.org. Het richt zich op hoe we projecten beter kunnen documenteren en gebruikers kunnen ondersteunen.

Een avond gevuld met films en ideeën uit de wereld van radical social justice video. VX:mission is een werkbijeenkomst van videoactivisten en open software hackers. Ons doel is de virale verspreiding van social justice video op het internet en de digitale piraten-ether. Kom langs en breng mee: je video's, nieuws uit de digitale underground en een plan om ons te redden van de multinationale digitale alleseters zoals YouTube.

Vx:meeting in Amsterdam 18, 19, 20th Jan 2008
SUMMARY
VX:mission will look at how distribution of Social Justice Video is happening using Free and Open Source technology. It is a chance to find out about existing distribution projects, get feedback for your own projects or ideas, find collaborators and scheme about how best to distribute your video. This is event is associated with the transmission network. For more info check transmission.cc
This will happen with 3 days of events. A Show with films, info and discussion on Friday 18th Jan, A day of Geek central hacklab work on the 19th, and a day of public workshops on Sunday 20th Jan. The times: Start 18:30 Fri 18th, End 18:00 Sunday 20th.
