 Het leger gaat al jaren na of het kan manouvreren in met pantservoertuigen in 19de eeuwse wijken. Officieel om te kunnen helpen bij rampbestrijding, het leger moet dan overal bij kunnen. Een variant van het voertuig op de foto wordt bijvoorbeeld tegen chemische en biologische wapens ingezet. Maar het leger inzetten tegen de bevolking hoef je niet uit te sluiten natuurlijk. Tijden de vorige wereldcrisis is het op grote schaal ingezet tegen het Jordaanoproer.
