INFO NIGHT: Trans-activism from Latin America to the World
How is the situation of transsexuals in Peru? How do transactivists fight for their rights in Latin America? How does this activism compare to activism of transsexuals in other parts of the world?
Come and listen to what the Peruvian trans activist Belissa Andía Pérez has to say about this! Belissa works at the Runa Institute in Lima (Peru) that researches (trans) gender issues. This institute has a lot of experience with transactivism. Belissa is also part of several Trans-activist grassroots groups and is a member of the ILGA-Latin America network. Beslissa would love to share her experiences of transactivism.

Hoe is de situatie van transseksuelen in Peru? Hoe vechten transactivisten voor hun rechten in Latijns Amerika? Hoe verschilt dit activisme met het activisme van transseksuelen in andere delen van de wereld?
Kom en luister naar wat de Peruaanse transactivist Belissa Andía Pérez hierover te vertellen heeft! Asociación Internacional de Lesbianas, Gays, Bisexuales, Trans e Intersex la cual es una federación mundial de grupos nacionales y locales dedicados a lograr la igualdad de derechos para las personas lesbianas, gays, bisexuales, trans y intersex (LGBTI) en todo el mundo. Belissa desea intercambiar y compartir sus experiencias con el público de Amsterdam.
