Terwijl Amsterdam met veel ophef de Gay-Pride vierde, lieten wij Paulus vanuit de Romeinenbrief aan het woord over dit fenomeen. Niet moralistisch, "wat mag wel en wat niet?", maar om te ontdekken wat het "verwerpelijke denken" is, dat hierachter schuilgaat. Een denken dat God niet vereert als GOD, d.w.z. HEM (mannelijk!!!) die alles en iedereen een plaats geeft. Dit gegeven blijkt de basis van heel Paulus' boodschap. Het Goede Bericht nl. aangaande Hem die door opstanding... nieuw leven verwekte, zodat sindsdien de schepping 'in blijde verwachting' is.
