Op dit moment vindt een lawaaidemo/bezetting van de stopera plaats. Komt allen naar de Stopera (dit is dus te Amsterdam). De bezetting is vanwege de strafrechterlijke ontruimingen van diverse kraakpanden die vandaag hebben plaatsgevonden in Amsterdam.

Om verwarring te voorkomen: de ontruimingen van vandaag zijn juist geen strafrechtelijke ontruimingen, maar civielrechtelijke.

Squatters at Stopera - fun, fast and furious.
Today several squatted houses were evicted and dozens of people were made homeless. We figured it's good to let the city know already during these evictions that we will not stop, that we will not be silenced and that they WILL hear from us - both on the streets and in the city hall.
So a group of squatters went to Stopera for a nice little morning jog, sprinting around the city hall, shouting. For once those rooms echoed with words that have actual substance!
Apparently the city and the police consider us voicing our opinions very dangerous, since they sent several busses of riot police away from evicting houses and to keep an eye on us instead. But we were too fast for them, and the suckers arrived way too late.

Vandaag zijn er verspreid over de stad panden ontruimd en tientallen mensen dakloos gemaakt. Wij dachten dat het een goed idee zou zijn om het duidelijk te maken aan de stad dat zelfs tijdens deze ontruimingen wij nog steeds niet te stoppen zijn, dat wij niet stil toe gaan kijken en dat hun WEL wat van ons zullen horen - op straat en in de Stopera.
Een groep krakers ging dus vandaag een vrolijke ochtendwandeling maken door de Stopera. Gillen, schreeuwen en sprinten om dingen spannend te houden. Voor de eerste keer waren er wat zinnige worden in de Stopera te horen.
Blijkbaar vindt de stad en hun politie het heel eng als wij onze mening uiten aangezien hun een aantal bussen M.E. weg hebben gestuurd bij een ontruiming om op ons te passen, maar wij waren te snel voor hun en die sukkels kwamen veel te laat (wat zielig).
