No other Hiroshima and Nagasaki’s tragedies
Rebwar Ahmed - 29.01.2003 19:36

Secretary of the Central Committee of the Worker Communist Party of Iraq – WCPI

To all freedom lovers

To all political parties and organizations defending freedom and humanity

We Must Not Allow the Recurrence of Hiroshima and Nagasaki’s tragedies in Iraq!!

The children, elderly of more than 22 million Iraqis are awaiting the threat of a frightening nightmare. America is aiming at reinforcing its hegemony on the economic and political life of the whole population of the globe. It wants to repeat the tragedies of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on the people of Iraq. The imposition of the New World Order under the leadership of the United States, which had used nuclear weapon, is based upon the mass murdering of the Iraqi people and the total destruction and collapse of this society.

During the Gulf War, America and its allies had burnt tens of thousands of Iraqis with bombs and gunpowder. And in the pretext of getting the guardians of the oil fields; the sheiks of Kuwait, back to power, they have spilled the bloods of thousands of Iraqis like streams.

For the last 12 years and under the pretext of containing the regime of Saddam Hussein, they have deprived the people from food and medicine, confiscated babies milk, destroyed the foundations of civil society, and , according to their own statistics, killed half a million children and pushed the society into the abyss of destruction. The dictatorship of Saddam has not only been unaffected, it had in fact made use of all that as an excuse to escalate its barbaric practices, imposing even more deprivation on the people of Iraq.

This time around, and under the flimsy pretext of putting an end to the dictatorship of Saddam Hussein, they want to destroy the whole society and kill its citizens with nuclear weapons.

America while trying to merge its inhuman goals with the great aspiration of freedom lovers in Iraq and the world, to topple the fascist regime of Saddam, wants to create a big deception. The Worker Communist Party of Iraq, which has always considered the toppling of the Iraqi regime as one of its major priorities, since its foundation, will unveil this American deception. On the contrary to the American propaganda, the lifting of economic sanctions, putting an end to the threats aimed at the masses of Iraq with war and use of nuclear weapons, and the isolation and condemnation of the brutal Ba’ath regime in Iraq, will open the horizons for the Iraqis to develop their means and capabilities of struggle in order to overthrow the fascist regime.

The masses of Iraq are the direct victims of the American hegemony on the world. But the results of this hegemony are not restricted to the people of Iraq. Whenever America has moved one step forward toward achieving its inhuman goals, it will push the cause of freedom and humanity of the whole world one step backward.

Imagine when the American aircrafts are dropping their bombs on Iraq how will the 3-fold race between Bush, Saddam and Sharon put this society under the strikes of mass destruction weapons. Imagine the cries of the bewildered children who have no control over what will be happening. Imagine when the shattered bodies of Iraqis are mixed with their destroyed homes and the cries and weeping of the people of Iraq which will put their tragedy before the eyes of the whole world.

This great human tragedy and the arrogance of the US can be confronted by the civilized and human forces in the world. The worker communist Party of Iraq is struggling with all its efforts toward achieving this purpose. We call upon the world to take a position to fight the threat of this horrific nightmare away from the children of Iraq and to resist the arrogance of America. The enormous strength of humanity is able to stop the United States and its allies from further calling for war and killings.

It is the task of all decent people in the world to resist the war.

Support the policies of the Worker Communist Party of Iraq toward war threats on Iraq. We need the solidarity and full support of the world and the defenders of freedom and humanity to push forward with our plans to stand against war and to defend the lives, rights, and security of the Iraqi people.
