Wereldwijde klimaatstaking - 27 september protest in Den Haag

[English below] Dit is een oproep aan alle mensen, ouders en kinderen, studenten en werkende mensen, gepensioneerden en grootouders, om deel te nemen aan de eerste algemene klimaatstaking op 27 september. Verlaat de scholen en de kantoren, de universiteiten en de winkels, en ga samen met ons de straat op in Den Haag.

Omdat het klimaatakkoord nog lang niet ver genoeg gaat, omdat het niet eerlijk genoeg is en omdat de Nederlandse regering het vonnis in de Urgenda klimaatzaak niet respecteert. Wij zijn voor een Green New Deal met eerlijk en ambitieus klimaatbeleid dat ook echt genoeg is om de klimaatcrisis te beteugelen.
Deze klimaatstaking wordt in Nederland georganiseerd door een brede coalitie van organisaties, en is onderdeel van de grootste internationale klimaatmobilisatie uit de geschiedenis. Voortbouwend op de succesvolle jongerenstakingen van voor de zomer zullen jongeren en volwassenen voor het eerst samen staken voor een leefbare en rechtvaardige wereld, nu en in de toekomst.
Wij roepen iedereen op om zich aan te sluiten. Iedereen is welkom en we hebben iedereen nodig. Deel dit event met je klasgenoten, collega's, mede-studenten, familie, App en bel je vrienden. Samen maken we deze klimaatstaking groot!

ENG: This is a call to action for all people, parents and kids, students and working people, retirees and grandparents: to join the first general strike for the climate on the 27th of September. Leave your schools and your offices, the universities and the stores and take to the streets with us in The Hague.
The current climate agreement is not enough, it's not just enough and it's not in accordance with the Urgenda verdict. We demand a Dutch Green New Deal with fair and ambitious climate policy to tackle the climate crisis effectively.
This climate strike is being organised by a large coalition of organizations in the Netherlands and is part of the largest international climate mobilization in history. Building on the successful youth strikes which started almost a year ago, young people and adults will strike together for the first time to demand a livable and just world, for now and for the future.
We are calling on everyone to join. Everyone is welcome and everyone is needed. Share this event with your classmates, colleagues, fellow students, and family, call and message your friends! Together we will make the climate strike massive!
