19.30 we will be joined by Abundia from the Autonomous Kitchen Council to talk about food, agriculture and ecology, mutual aid and community organizing.
Abundia Alvarado (she/her) is a Nahuatl-Apache [naa·Waa·tul Ah-pah-che] Trans femme displaced/ Stateless/ migrant worker from Tenochtitlan [Teh-no-cheet-lan] currently living in the south of so called USA. Abundia co- founded the Atlanta agriculturalist collective Mariposas Rebeldes in so called Atlanta in 2020. She is a member of the Tierra Comida Libertad (TCL), a trans migrant indigenous led collective. Currently TLC is working on rolling out the Autonomous Kitchen Council model(AKC) and doing presentations anywhere its members are invited. Abundia is also part of the movement to Stop Cop City (militarized police training center) in Mvskoke lands (so called Atlanta, GA). The Stop Cop City movement is in its 4 year now of the struggle.
